Insurance
Many of our patients are fortunate enough to have medical insurance to help defray the cost of physical therapy treatment. The overwhelming majority of insurance plans do not cover all treatment in full. You are responsible for your copayment and all deductibles, if applicable, at the time of service. To help you process your claims, our staff will do most of the insurance paperwork for you as a courtesy. As we are not an insurance company nor do we work for or represent any such company, we cannot guarantee any eligibility, extent of coverage or any payment by your insurance. You are ultimately responsible for any outstanding balance.
Billing
Golden Hills Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy continually pursues insurance contracts in order to provide flexibility and access to our patients. We are currently in-network with many insurance carriers, the most common of which are listed below. We also offer competitive rates for out-of-network insurance carriers and special offerings to those without health insurance.
Since each plan’s benefits vary, we encourage all of our patients to contact their insurance companies to inquire about their outpatient physical therapy benefits. Our staff may also check on your benefits as a courtesy prior to your first visit, however, any benefits given to Golden Hills on your behalf are not a guarantee of payment by your insurance company. All insurance providers decide at the time of processing each claim how much they will allow.
